In addition, in June 2012 the volume of freight traffic increased by 18.7%. Only during the month SCR transported 340.8 thousand tons of cargo, including 120.5 thousand tons in import, 36.7 thousand tons in export and 183.6 thousand tons in local traffic.
The railway is gradually building up key performance indexes including the volume of cargo. We achieved these results thanks to SCR flexible tariff policy aimed at reducing transport costs in the price of the goods transported.
